Review active sessions and devices
Review where your Estavo account is signed in, identify current, old or unfamiliar access and end sessions that are no longer required or may present a security concern.
A session represents access to your Estavo account from a browser, device or application. A session can remain active after you close a browser unless you sign out or the session expires.
What an active session can show
Device names, browser descriptions and locations may not precisely identify the physical device or user. Review the details together rather than relying on one field.
Before reviewing account sessions
- Use a trusted device.
- Confirm you are signed in to the correct Estavo account.
- Identify the device and browser you are currently using.
- Consider other devices you use regularly.
- Review recent travel or network changes.
- Check whether a VPN or mobile network was used.
- Do not ignore access you cannot explain.
- Keep another working sign-in method available.

Identify the session you are using now
- Look for a Current Session label.
- Compare the displayed browser with the browser you are using.
- Review the device type.
- Check the most recent activity time.
- Confirm the broad location is reasonable.
- Do not end the current session unless you intend to sign out.
Review the device and browser description
- Check whether the session shows a phone, tablet or computer.
- Review the browser or application name.
- Compare it with devices you use for Estavo.
- Remember that browser updates can change the description.
- Review whether several sessions belong to the same device.
- End sessions associated with devices you no longer own.
Interpret session-location information carefully
The displayed location can be based on the internet connection rather than the precise physical position of the device.
- Review whether the country or general region is expected.
- Consider mobile-network routing.
- Consider business networks and internet providers.
- Review whether a VPN was active.
- Do not rely on location alone to identify a user.
- Treat unexplained country-level differences seriously.
A recognised device may appear in a nearby city or another network location. Review the device, browser, timing and location together.
Review when each session was last active
- Compare the activity time with your own account use.
- Review sessions active when you were not using Estavo.
- Check whether background browser activity could explain the time.
- Review old sessions that remain active.
- End sessions that have not been used for a long period.
- Investigate recent unfamiliar access immediately.
Keep recognised sessions only where needed
Personal computer
Keep the session where the device is controlled, protected and regularly used.
Personal mobile device
Review that the phone or tablet remains secured and under your control.
Business device
Confirm the device remains assigned to you and follows your organisation’s security process.
Temporary device
End the session when the device was used only for a short-term purpose.
End old sessions you no longer need
- Identify sessions for replaced devices.
- Review browsers you no longer use.
- End sessions from previous workplaces or offices.
- End access from temporary or borrowed devices.
- Review sessions associated with old browser profiles.
- Confirm the session disappears after ending it.
Respond to a session you do not recognise
- End the unfamiliar session.
- Change or reset the account password.
- Review registered passkeys.
- Review connected Google sign-in.
- Check the account email and profile details.
- Secure the associated email account.
- Review recent account activity and changes.
- Contact Estavo support when unauthorised access is suspected.
An unfamiliar session may indicate that another person can access property, tenant, document or financial information.
End one active session
Select the session
Confirm the device, browser and activity details.
Select End Session or Sign Out
Use the action displayed for that session.
Confirm the action
Review that the correct session is selected.
Review the updated list
Confirm the ended session is no longer active.
End all other sessions where available
Use this option when you want to remove access from every other browser or device while retaining or re-establishing access on your current trusted device.
- Confirm the current session is trusted.
- Select End All Other Sessions where available.
- Review any confirmation message.
- Expect other devices to require sign-in again.
- Change the password when the action is security-related.
- Review passkeys and connected Google access separately.
Secure the account after ending suspicious access
Change or reset the password
Use a new password not used on another service.
Review passkeys
Remove any passkey you do not recognise.

Confirm only the intended Google account remains connected.
Review recent account activity
Check profile, property, document and financial changes for anything unfamiliar.
End access from shared or public devices
- Sign out of Estavo when finished.
- End the session from a trusted device.
- Remove saved passwords from the shared browser.
- Do not leave a passkey on the device.
- Sign out of connected Google profiles where appropriate.
- Delete downloaded reports and temporary files.
- Change the password if credentials may have been saved.
Provide useful details when contacting support

- The approximate location shown.
- The last active time.
- Whether the session was ended.
- Whether the password was changed.
- Any unfamiliar account changes observed.
- A screenshot with unnecessary personal information removed.
Support does not need passwords, authentication codes, passkeys, reset links or Google credentials.
Common session and device problems
The sessions page is unavailable
Refresh the page and confirm you are signed in to the intended account.
The device description is unclear
Compare the browser, location and last active time with your own usage.
The location looks incorrect
Consider mobile networks, VPN use and internet provider routing.
The same device appears more than once
Different browsers, profiles or repeated sign-ins can create separate sessions.
A session will not end
Refresh the session list and try again from a trusted browser.
An ended session returns
The device may have signed in again using a stored password, passkey or Google account.
The current session ended accidentally
Return to the sign-in page and use a valid sign-in method.
Unfamiliar access continues
Change the password, review all sign-in methods and contact support.
