Set up and manage passkeys
Add a passkey to your Estavo account, use passwordless sign-in on trusted devices, review existing passkeys and remove access associated with lost, shared or unused devices.
A passkey allows you to sign in using a device security check, such as a fingerprint, face recognition, device PIN or password-manager confirmation. The passkey itself is managed by your device, browser or passkey provider.
What a passkey does
Biometric or device-PIN confirmation is handled by the device or passkey provider used to approve the sign-in.
Before adding a passkey
- Confirm you are signed in to the correct Estavo account.
- Use a device you own or control.
- Protect the device with a PIN, password or biometric check.
- Confirm your browser or password manager supports passkeys.
- Check that another sign-in or recovery method remains available.
- Avoid creating a passkey on a shared or public device.
- Review which provider will store the passkey.
- Use a recognisable label where Estavo permits naming.
The device owner or provider account may later be able to approve access to your Estavo account.
